OSTP has received a new order for the world´s largest Ethylene Glycol (EG) plant in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The plant is built by Toyo Engineering Company, Japan. The capacity of the plant is currently being expanded to reach an annual output of 1, 2 million metric tons corresponding to approximately 2% of the global demand of EG.
The new order amounts to around 1050 tons of welded pipes in grade AISI 304L covering a size range from ½" – 80" NB. The pipes will be produced at Nyby and Storfors with supplementary production from mills outside the group. Shipment is scheduled for August 2006.
